Corporate Web Site

From Sandro Groganz, Open Source Marketing Consultant

Jump to: navigation, search

Most customers will expect that you have a .com domain. Anything else (.info, .net, .org) will confuse them and they might not find you.

Appearance and Navigation

All you need to know is in this nice little book: Don't Make Me Think.

Content

Your Web site should contain at least the following pages/information:

  • (front page): The first page of your site needs to tell visitors why they should stay, i.e. what you offer to them. This is where you should place your tagline/mission statement.
  • Contact: Provide at least postal address, email, phone, fax. Phone is very important, because some customers prefer talking to you before they buy anything.
