Does Drupal want to grow? No, Drupal is not anything. "It" is just a collection of people scratching their own itches. There are some community members who don't care at all about any marketing of Drupal. This is another area where the people who care will scratch their own itch by banding together to create collateral and market Drupal to different groups.

Trademark justifies investment: I don't understand how that makes sense. The trademark is held in trust by the Association, and has nothing to do with Acquia.

Also, please don't focus only on Acquia. They are only a *member* of the Drupal ecosystem -- there are many other thriving companies participating *around the world*.

Drupal marketing leader: theoretically that is Association board member Jeff Eaton.

Anyway, this is all just some feedback. I think there is a lot of depth to open source marketing, and you've just scratched the surface. It's good to be talking about this. See you in Boston!
